M.I.C.A. Magazine |
|
The M.I.C.A.
magazine is produced bi-monthly and is
available to all members of M.I.C.A. It contains many
interesting articles on all aspects of
collecting Matchbox toys including
Yesteryears.

The Yesteryear Book |
|
The definitive
guide to Yesteryears compiled by Kevin
McGimpsey and Stuart Orr, the founders of
M.I.C.A. This book lists
all the recognised variations together
with values and many other details. This
is a 'must have' book for all serious
Yesteryear collectors.

Matchbox Diecast Toys
-
the first forty years |
|
This is the most
comprehensive work written on the general
subject of Matchbox toys. It is only
available from M.I.C.A.

Yesterday's Yesteryears
by
R Carter and E Rubinstein |
|
This is a great
book written by two enthusiasts. Some
good pictures and commentary on the
models. Variations and values are not
discussed but still a good book to find.
Early models are covered up until those
produced in 1983.

John Ramsay's British
Diecast Model Toys |
|
A comprehensive
catalogue covering all British makes,
giving variations and values. Variation
descriptions can be confusing and I much
prefer the Yesteryear Book.

Classic Toys Magazine |
|
A magazine
unfortunately discontinued August 1996. A
good read with a detailed article on
Yesteryears most issues. I miss this
magazine and wish someone would resurrect
it!
