Your letter of the 15th reached me on the 20th.

The block of property in Back Street Winsham consisting of the Cottage in which your Mother lived, the Orchard adjoining and the Barton and outbuildings formerly called "The Castle" together with the "Victory" Hut and small Garden thereto adjoining, all which is proposed shall with the approval of the rest of the Family, be purchased by your Brother, Charles Henry Peadon, was recently valued by Mr. S.W. Slade as between all parties at seven hundred and eighty five pounds (£785), at which figure your brother is prepared to purchase; and it is proposed that the remainder of the Winsham property shall be offered for sale by auction by Mr. Slade early next year. I hope to see your Brother shortly and will then ascertain whether he thinks there is any money which could be divided at the present time.

At 39 years of age George became the father of Muriel Olive Peadon 24 JUL 1910. At 42 years of age George became the father of Vera Gladys May Peadon 31 MAY 1913.

George Henry Peadon and Flora Ellen Perham had the following children:

• 7 ii. Lois Ethel Peadon (#12) was born 22 SEP 1898. Lois died 24 SEP 1992 at 94 years of age. She married Frank Gilham in Winsham, Somerset, 1931. (Frank Gilham is #23.) Frank was born NOV 1894. Frank died NOV 1972 at 78 years of age. (See Frank Gilham for the continuation of this line.)

  At 34 years of age Lois became the mother of Geoffrey Gilbert Frank Gilham 1933.

• 9 iv. Fredrick Stevens Peadon (#13) was born 1904. Fredrick died 1909 at 5 years of age.

• 10 v. Florence Ena Peadon (#15) was born 27 APR 1906.⁽⁷⁶⁹⁾ Florence died 1992 in Southend-on-sea, Essex, at 86 years of age. She married James Pinkham in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, 10 JUN 1941.⁽⁷⁷⁰⁾ (James Pinkham is #19.) James was born in Jersey, Channel Islands 29 JAN 1906.⁽⁷⁷¹⁾ James was the son of Captain James Pinkham and Florence Lilian Elliot Badcock. • 12 vii. Muriel Olive Peadon (#17) was born 24 JUL 1910. Muriel died 1990 at 79 years of age. She married Arthur Galpin ABT 1930. (Arthur Galpin is #36.) Arthur was born ABT 1910. Arthur died 1990 at 80 years of age. (See Arthur Galpin for the continuation of this line.)

  At 20 years of age Muriel became the mother of June Lorraine Galpin 1931. At 35 years of age Muriel became the mother of Susan Galpin 1946.
